Siddharth Khati.

B.Tech CSE student at VIT-AP. I build AI planners in Python and solve search problems in Java and C++.

Move your cursor to stir the colour. It's a real-time fluid simulation running on your GPU.

About

I study Computer Science and Engineering at VIT-AP, and most of my time goes into algorithms, data structures and systems programming.

Lately that means AI planning with PDDL, classic search problems, and systems programming in Bash.

Stack.

The languages and ideas behind my projects and coursework.

Languages

  • Python
  • Java
  • C++

Also JavaScript, SQL, Bash, HTML and CSS.

Computer science

  • State-space search: BFS and A*
  • Backtracking and constraint satisfaction
  • AI planning with PDDL
  • Graph algorithms
  • Dynamic programming
  • Operating systems

Frameworks and tools

  • Flask
  • MySQL

mcpgw.

A lightweight, pluggable gateway for MCP servers. It does the OAuth 2.1 sign-in with each provider, keeps the tokens, and gives an AI agent one endpoint with every tool behind it: GitHub, Notion, Linear, Sentry, Atlassian, Stripe or any spec-compliant server. It speaks MCP 2026-07-28 and falls back to 2025-11-25, for old and new clients and servers alike, in about 2,500 lines of Python with a single dependency and 41 end-to-end tests against a strict mock provider.

A filled dot means the gateway holds tokens for that server. This is a simulation of the flow, not a live connection.

RouteGenie.

An AI travel companion. Pick where you're flying from, where you're going, your budget and hotel style. RouteGenie builds real PDDL problem files from a knowledge base of eight destinations, runs Goal Stack planning over STRIPS operators, and sequences a conflict-free itinerary priced in rupees, showing every operator's preconditions and effects along the way.

RouteGenie's Generated Plan tab: a five-day London to Kyoto trip for two with flight, hotel and daily costs in rupees, followed by the STRIPS action sequence starting with BUY_FLIGHT_TICKET and TAKE_FLIGHT, each listing its preconditions and add and delete effects.
A real plan from the running app: London to Kyoto, five days, two travellers.

Water jug.

Measure exactly 2 litres using only a 4-litre and a 3-litre jug. Solved with breadth-first search in Python, with a Tkinter visualiser. This runs the same search, with the same move order.

Eight queens.

Place eight queens so that none can attack another, row by row with backtracking in C++. This board uses the same algorithm; solution 1 is the one my program prints.

8-puzzle.

The sliding-tile puzzle as a state-space problem, with a Java Swing board to play it and a write-up of A* search using the Manhattan-distance heuristic. Slide a tile into the gap and watch the heuristic change.

Encore.

A concert booking website on Flask and MySQL, grown from my high-school project. Fans book seats and get e-tickets with QR codes, join waitlists that fill themselves when seats free up, and review shows afterwards. Admins check tickets in at the door and track sales on a live dashboard.

  • Python
  • Flask
  • MySQL
